The ‘Swing at the End of the World’…
Hangs from the limb of treehouse located at La Casa Del Arbol in Baños, Ecuador. This treehouse, aptly called the House of Trees in Spanish, is actually a seismic monitoring station that watches over the nearby Tungurhua Volcano.
Hanging off the ledge of a cliff at 2600 meters above sea level, this swing awakens the innocence, whimsey, and a little (ok a LOT) daredevil in everyone who takes a whirl.
You can book a tour that will take you to and from Casa Del Arbol for $6 USD or you can take the bus for $1 USD or, to get your thrill on before getting there, you can rent an ATV in town for about $15 USD. There is an entry fee of $1 and you may have to wait your turn but it’s totally worth it.
Just take a look at this and see for yourself.
